About Staying in Halls of Residence
Room Types Available
University halls of residence offer rooms for single occupancy only. Rooms cannot be shared. If you would like to have a room next to a friend or family member, please make this clear when you register. Although we will do our best to accommodate your request, this cannot be guaranteed.
Bathroom Facilities
Rooms in University halls of residences include either ensuite or shared bathroom facilities. Only those booking ensuite rooms have their own private bathroom. Delegates booking rooms with shared bathroom facilities will share these facilities with other delegates. Residences staff try to allocate shared bathroom facilities to delegates of the same gender, but this may not always be possible. Contact us if you have any queries or concerns.
Smoking
Smoking is not permitted in any University halls of residence. Additionally, between 08.00 and 18.00, you are asked not to smoke anywhere outside on campus. For the time being, vaping outside is permitted on the smoke free campus.
Access to On-Campus Facilities
All on-campus accommodation bookings include access to the University's sports facilities at theEdge, including a gym, swimming pool, squash courts and even a climbing wall.
