Library Access

All registered delegates have read-only access to the University’s libraries during the IMC.

You can find your unique library barcode on the back of your name badge; please do not share it with anyone else. Scan your barcode on the barrier at the entrance to one of the libraries to enter.

Libraries on campus

You will have access to several libraries on campus.

  • Brotherton Library: arts, social sciences, law, Special Collections, computer facilities
  • Edward Boyle Library: science, social sciences, engineering, computer facilities
  • Health Sciences Library: medicine and health-related subjects, computer facilities
  • Laidlaw Library: high-demand collection and core texts, computer facilities

Special Collections

You are also welcome to make use of the University Library Special Collections, containing over 200,00 rare books and hundreds of thousands of manuscripts, incunabula, and archival materials. The Reading Room is open 09.00-18.00 every day during the IMC – you will need to book an appointment at least 2 days in advance.
