Abstract

This session examines designs and interpretations of medieval processions. In the session different processions are approached from the points of view of musicology, architectural history, and theology. On the one hand we want to highlight the structures and compositions of these processions, on the other hand we want to present some of the temporal and spatial dynamics in the mental framework constituted around them.
