Abstract

The Graduate Student Committee of the Medieval Academy of America is dedicated to providing guidance on research, teaching, publishing, professionalisation, funding and employment as well as fostering international and interdisciplinary exchange. The purpose of this round table discussion is to provide information regarding particular issues that are of concern for those postgraduates in the field of Medieval Studies and presentations may include subjects on publishing, CV writing, the interview process, and networking in an overseas market. Participants will include David Bates (University of Glasgow), Kimm Perkins (University of Glasgow), Andrew Roach (University of Glasgow), Lindl Roper (University of Oxford) and Jim Simpson (University of Glasgow).
