Abstract

This session will be devoted to the works of the fifth or sixth century African author Fulgentius the Mythographer (commonly distinguished from St. Fulgentius, Bishop of Ruspe) and will attempt to assess him in the context of recent scholarship, the classical tradition, and the conference theme of "Youth and Age".
