| Abstract | This workshop will be a demonstration of the Euro-Climhist climate reconstruction database and mapping tools. The database, which has been utilized and augmented in conjunction with the EU project Millennium, contains more than 30000 records on medieval climate in Europe. The database includes both documentary sources, such as manorial records and annals, and natural scientific data. The demonstration will discuss potential research uses of the dataset as well as show example data. Participants include Christian Pfister (Universität Bern) and Kathleen Pribyl (Universität Bern). |
