Abstract

Since 2001 the Electronic Manipulus florum Project (www.manipulusflorum.com) has aimed to provide the text of this influential Latin florilegium online as a resource for scholars. The original provision of a complete transcription of a late 15th-century printed edition is being supplanted by a critical edition; at present (September 2007) about 26% of the text has been edited and provided online. A number of scholars have already made use of this resource in carrying out their research. Papers for this session will deal either with Thomas' construction of particular topics or with the reception of the Manipulus by medieval preachers who employed it as an aid to sermon composition.
