Abstract

Few regions in Late Antiquity were better situated to facilitate travel and trade than the Vandal kingdom, located along North Africa's Mediterranean coast. An examination of the cultural and political contexts of the Vandals, therefore, promises to reveal important insights into the Late Antique world, especially concerning literary and religious history.
