Abstract

All three papers deal with documenting dress and textiles. Izbicki considers law and visitation evidence for vestments, altar cloths, and other materials; Magoula discusses items from a list of bequests in a will registered in the Municipal Acts of Ravenna on 17 July 564; and Sylvester considers the choices made when compiling an multilingual anthology of references to medieval dress and textiles of the British Isles.
