Abstract

Following on from last year's round table on the place of editing in the scholarly world, this round table will consider how constraints and opportunities deriving from disciplinary settings and from the different languages of texts affect how editing is done, and how this can be built into training and infrastructure. This round table brings together scholars working in very different linguistic traditions, as a basis for exploring the extent and nature of those differences.

Participants include Grégory Combalbert (Université de Caen Basse-Normandie), Marie-Agnès Lucas-Avenel (Université de Caen Basse-Normandie), Patricia Stewart (London), and Christopher Woolgar (University of Southampton).
