Abstract

The session concentrates on the spread of reform ideas and on the study of how reformers were able to mobilize followers from several social strata. Starting from a broad methodological perspective and analyzing a wide array of sources, the papers will aim at reconstructing a pan-European perspective on the dynamics of social and cultural transformations.
