Abstract

The International Medieval Bibliography (IMB) is the world's leading multidisciplinary bibliography of Medieval Studies, offering an online database of over 400,000 publications in 62 disciplinary areas. This workshop offers the opportunity to learn more about the possibilities for using its search interface and functionality, controlled vocabulary, and indices both to discover specific relevant publications and to construct larger bibliographies. It will also demonstrate some of the other new features - notably metrics for journals and authors - which have recently been added to the IMB.
