Abstract

This session aims to explore aspects of coastal living in later medieval society, from a comparative and interdisciplinary perspective. The papers will explore the specific peculiarities associated with living in coastal environments, from ways to making a living, and cultural experiences to socio-economic factors such as the impact of the Black Death.
