Abstract

Building on the presentation of their research in 2018, the team working on the citing of Cistercian abbeys will provide an update on the ‘Cistercian Skyscapes Project’, its aspirations, tools, and website; the regional differences between Cistercian abbeys in Great Britain and Ireland, and the importance of the rose window on the west façade.
