Abstract | These sessions explore the early medieval riddle tradition across a variety of languages, including Arabic, Latin, and Old English. Papers address riddles and riddling through a variety of perspectives and methodologies, including critical theory (ecocriticism, thing theory, queer theory), linguistics, manuscript studies and comparative literature and religion. |
