Abstract

This session will demonstrate how developments in multispectral imaging can reveal otherwise difficult to discern text on medieval manuscripts; evaluate the potential of new digital datasets and analytical tools to elucidate the relationship between geography and sealing practices in the British Isles; and showcase cutting-edge Virtual Reality technology that restores sensory data to seeing-impaired scholars, with textures and colours portrayed through vibration.
