Abstract

This round table discussion will explore new and innovative approaches to teaching the medieval in the digital age. It brings together teachers of the medieval with those who develop new tools and teaching materials for this specific time period. We will explore how teachers of the medieval can use digital tools to tailor learning experiences to the needs of individual students and present students with more interactive materials while continuing to engage with current developments in the field. In this round table discussion, we will encourage questions and audience participation.

Participants include Timothy D. Arner (Grinnell College, Iowa), Stewart J. Brookes (University of Oxford), Rachelle Friedman (Lycée Français de New York), David Neville (Grinnell College, Iowa), and Thijs Porck (Universiteit Leiden).
