Session Proposal Form (2021)

Please take time to read our Privacy Notice before completing your submission.

Before submitting your group session proposal you must ensure that you have the permission of all individuals listed in your proposal to share all information about them included in your submission with the IMC. This will include:

  • Name
  • Affiliation
  • Email address
  • Mailing address
  • Phone number (if provided)
  • Details of paper/session
  • Accessibility/equipment and scheduling information

IMC will use the data in your submission to process personal data for the administration of any listed individual’s position as a submitter, organiser, presenter, moderator, sponsor, delegate, or other participant at the IMC. This includes:

  • Contacting individuals about the status of their paper or session as well as their registration, or any other issue we deem to be of relevance to their attendance or participation at the IMC;
  • Sending individuals a copy of the IMC printed programme, if they expressed an interest in attending that year’s IMC and did not opt out of receiving a printed copy.

Individuals listed in the submission will be able to opt in or out of other communications when registering to attend the IMC.

Under GDPR regulations you are considered to be the ‘Data Controller’ for all information provided in your submission, it is your responsibility to ensure that you have obtained permission to share all details contained in your submission with the IMC and for this data to be processed by IMC as outlined above and in our Privacy Notice.
