The below information relates to the online IMC 2021. Details of pricing for IMC 2022 will be available here in Spring 2022.
The IMC is run on a not-for-profit basis. However, we must cover as large a proportion of our costs as possible each year. Registration Fees are set based on our total costs and the number of delegates expected to attend in any given year. We need to cover our costs to ensure the future continuation of the Congress for years to come.
Registration & Programming Fees
- Standard Full Five-Day Registration: £120.00
- Student / Retired / Unwaged / Low-Waged Scholars: £75.00
Unfortunately, due to technical limitations, it will not be possible to offer day tickets for the online Congress.
If you register as a student, retired, unwaged, or low-waged scholar, you will need to submit proof of status either during your registration or shortly afterwards.
These fees will provide access to the full 5-day online Congress from 05 July – 09 July and a short period before and after the event to access all resources and recordings.
The IMC is run on a non-profit basis with any surplus redirected into the Bursary Fund, towards improvements to the IMC experience on campus, or to ensuring our submission and registration systems remain fit for purpose. To ensure the future stability and continuation of the Congress for years to come, we need to limit our losses and cover as large a proportion of our costs as possible.
This means that, while IMC 2021 will be virtual, there will be a cost for speakers and delegates to participate. This fee will cover the processing of proposals, production of the programme, staffing costs, development of software/an online platform, as well as ensuring excellent delegate support is available for all speakers and attendees throughout the virtual event.
As in previous years, reduced registration fees will be offered for less well-off members of our community, including students, retired, unwaged, and low-waged individuals.
If you register as a student, retired, unwaged, or low-waged scholar, you will need to submit proof of status after you register.
Low-earning delegates are also able to apply for this concessionary rate. Please contact us before registering to discuss your individual circumstances.
