Abstract

Our first speaker is a regular of the BAA organised panels and will be discussing the recent fieldwork at Kirkby Fleetham and Hornby Castles with a focus on how land use adapted to climate and the significance of 'watery' landscapes. Finally we end with a look at how the tumultuous reign of Henry VIII affected the development St. Michael le Belfrey (York) through a discussion of its glass.
