Welcome to the International Medieval Congress
Drawing medievalists from over 60 countries, with more than 2,000 individual papers as well as public concerts, performances, excursions, bookfairs and more, the International Medieval Congress (IMC) is Europe's largest forum for sharing ideas in medieval studies.
IMC 2025 will take place from Monday 07 July to Thursday 10 July 2025 and there will be both an in-person and virtual component. The special thematic focus for IMC 2025 will be 'Worlds of Learning'.
Individual paper proposals closed on 31 August 2024 and organised session proposals closed on 30 September 2024. The Late Call for Papers and Sessions will open very soon! Check back here for more details or in the meantime, email imc@leeds.ac.uk with any speculative enquiries.
Acceptances for IMC 2025 were emailed out on 29 November 2024. If you submitted a proposal and did not receive an email from us, please get in touch
