Abstract

The session will be focused on the literary and philological analysis of late medieval sermons and tracts that contain a substantial material for studying the contradictions between orthodox and heterodox medieval belief or that deal with this topic themselves. We would like to present how could be literary and philological aspects used as a good indicator for recognizing an individual author's or collective opinion shift of placing the borders of orthodoxy and heterodoxy. We will have a chance for comparing the results of four various researches - three relating to the Hussite movement period in European lands and one to the Middle English tracts of creeds.
