Abstract

The purpose of this round table will be to demonstrate the new edition of the Parliament Rolls Of Medieval England (PROME). This new edition, which includes a full translation of the entire Rotuli Parliamentorum, much additional material, and substantial introductions and appendices to every parliament known to have been held in England between 1275 and 1504 - amounting in total to some eight million words - will be published on CD-Rom in 2005, and all who might be interested are warmly invited to come along to get an impression of its scope and potential as a tool for research.
