Abstract

Over the past few years, Archaeological Field Investigators from English Heritage have analytically surveyed and interpreted a number of Cistercian monasteries in England. These range from some of the better known Yorkshire houses, to the less familiar ones in the south of England. These three papers will present the results of some of these investigations.
