Abstract

Approaching the subjects of Abelard, Heloise, and Hildegard in the context of travel and exploration promises to open new avenues of investigation. The journey of Abelard's books, liturgical provisions associated with Heloise and Hildegard, and the changing perceptions of Abelard through time will each reveal new insights into well-studied subjects.
