Abstract

This session explores the reception of artistic models that were the direct result of the travels of people, artists, or patrons of art that after moving from distant lands in the East, or after their visit to Italy, came back to the Iberian Peninsula and brought with them an artistic language that was soon to be adopted and adapted in the art of medieval Spain. How these movements and travels created a parameter of creation by itself is a question that will be addressed in detail.
