Abstract

The three papers of this session will give three examples of contact and communication between areas on the opposite edges of (Western) Christianity (Scandinavia, Atlantic Isles, Northern Africa, and the Holy Land) and between outskirts and the Centre of the Church. In all papers some kind of travelling is a main focus.
