Abstract

This is the first of two sessions on Ideas, Identity, and Audience in Late Medieval England, France, and Burgundy at the Leeds IMC 2011. This session will focus on royal and courtly aspects of ceremony and audience in both France and England, from high spectacle to literary culture.
