Abstract

Caritas, as one of the three theological virtues, could play an important role in the efforts to shorten the time in purgatory for the deceased and to ensure prayer for the benefit of their souls. In this session, the way the poor and the care for them is reflected in art, connected to dead and commemoration, will be examined from several angles.
