Abstract	There are various ways in which the boundaries of physical bodies can be crossed - be it from the inside, with the transition from life to death, or from the outside, either by means of the restriction of a person's freedom or by the exertion of physical violence. Furthermore, these boundaries can be redefined by attribution of specific qualities or deficiencies. This session aims at analysing virtual and physical boundary crossings with regard to Jewish bodies from both Jewish and Christian perspectives.
