Abstract	This panel highlights the reception and adaptation of Non-Nordic saints' vitae material in the medieval and Early Modern Nordic region, both in prose and poetry. The first paper focuses on the uniqueness of the Life of St Andrew in the Old Norse-Icelandic corpus, in comparison to its Latin counterparts. The second paper addresses the expansion of the Life of St Ambrose in Nordic sources. The third paper looks at the figure of Eve in the Norse biblical material, reflecting on the presentation of holy women in the corpus. The fourth paper examines the Early Modern Icelandic poem about Mary Magdalen.
