Abstract

The papers throughout this strand have considered the existence and influence of borders of various varieties within medievalist - and related - games. The papers within this final session address the methods through which these boundaries are constructed, the factors which drive these approaches, and the purposes which these divisions serve for the developers of these games. They consider the use of these games for commercial, educational, and research purposes and highlight the possibilities presented by these games within these spheres.
