| Abstract | This round table discussion draws together the diverse threads discussed throughout the 'Playing the Middle Ages' and 'Middle Ages in Modern Games' strands. It leans on the voices and expertise of several emerging and established scholars to consider the multifaceted directions of research within this young and vibrant field and addresses the difficulties inherent within this area. This open discussion welcomes all participants. Participants include Marlene Ernst (Paris-Lodron-Universität Salzburg), Mariana Lopez (University of York), and Tess Watterson (University of Adelaide). |
