Abstract

The session explores the entanglements of social, political, and knowledge transmission networks within the visual and architectural culture of the late medieval Dubrovnik through case studies of a female founder of the Dominican convent; the production and exchange of liturgical silver and gold objects in the cathedral and processes of modernisation of the city defences.
