Abstract

This session will represent three of the principal and complementary interests to which the scholarship of David Wulstan has been devoted. The participants will present papers on Abelard, and the possible part played by Ermengarde of Anjou in the attacks on him in the Historia Calamitatum; the Cantigas de Santa Maria and its reception by medieval audiences as text, music, and miniatures; and a re-evaluation of Mozarabism in Iberian monasteries.
