Abstract

This round table discussion is intended to enable participants to raise and discuss questions of methodology, content and implementation, and to discuss these with some practitioners who have recently or are currently undertaking projects with significant component of prosopographical data.

Case studies will be presented by Katharine S. B. Keats-Rohan (Mont Saint Michel) and Emilia Jamroziak (Survival and Success on Medieval Borders) who will address in particular the creation and usage of electronic databases, and the treatment of data relating to ethnically and socially diverse networks.

Participants include Emilia Jamroziak (University of Leeds), Katharine S. B. Keats-Rohan (University of Leeds/University of Oxford), and Ralph W. Mathisen (University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign).
