Moderator/Chair:Guy Carney, Brepols Publishers, Turnhout
Abstract

Writing an academic monograph can be a daunting prospect. This session will address not only some of the practical considerations about writing a monograph, but also considers how it fits into your own career progression. A panel consisting of experienced scholars, publishers, and younger scholars will offer their views, and will then be available for your questions about whether and how to get started on your first book.

Participants include Brenda M. Bolton (University of London), Heiko Hartmann (Walter de Gruyter & Co. Verlag, Berlin), and Blair Sullivan (University of California, Los Angeles).
