Abstract

These two sessions present recent work by Italian postgraduate students and early-career researchers in the field of Germanic Philology. Their aim is to display the range and liveliness of current research in Italy and to show how a philological approach to the vernacular languages and literatures of medieval Europe could contribute to interdisciplinary research and to a better understanding of the Middle Ages as a whole.
