Abstract

These three papers (from a lecturer, a postdoc, and a student in the final stages of her PhD) develop the conference themes from medieval cultural and literary sites of rebirth, through neo-medievally inspired interpretations of medieval literature and culture, to the neo-medieval 'world' of Gore Vidal. They demonstrate how radical approaches, from gender studies to epistemology, can 'renew' our own vision of the medieval world.
