Abstract

Religion unifies us - or does it? This session considers the role of other from the religious point of view; examining religion itself as 'other' through the eyes of the missionary; the visually 'other' figure of the Knight Moriaen in the Arthurian romance, Moriaen; and finally the bestially 'other' through the depictions of demons in art.
