Abstract

Student-centred learning has gained increasing traction within the field of education research. Broadly defined as encompassing any approach to education aimed at supporting and responding to students' particular educational needs, interests, and motivations, student-centred learning has been shown to be effective in many different contexts. The papers in this session, which consider universal design, strategies for student-based textual editing projects, and innovative approaches to teaching Piers Plowman online, are united by a shared interest in exploring the strategies and approaches to student-centred learning in the context of medieval courses.
