Excitement Rises as IMC 2025 Registration Opens Soon!
The International Medieval Congress (IMC) team hit the ground running at the start of January 2025, launching both the January Newsletter and the IMC 2025 PDF Programme on our website. It is always a proud achievement when delegates can see their involvements in the programme for the first time.
The IMC Newsletter perfectly complements the published PDF Programme, giving a succinct overview of all the key information everyone needs to know, including fairs, events, excursions, keynote speakers, and the revealing of the IMC 2026 Special Thematic Strand, ‘Temporalities’. Read more about IMC 2025 and IMC 2026 key dates here: https://www.imc.leeds.ac.uk/about/imc-newsletter/.
The IMC team are currently preparing for one of the busiest days of the IMC year, Registration Opening! For IMC 2025, the registration portal will open on Tuesday 11 February at 10:00am (GMT).
The deadline for registering for IMC 2025 is Friday 02 May, 23:59 (BST). Late registrations are welcomed after Friday 02 May via the main link to register; however, registrations received after this time are at the discretion of the IMC and subject to additional late fees. Please note, it will not be possible to register for IMC 2025 after Wednesday 11 June, 23:59 (BST).
We advise all delegates to read the ‘How to Register’ page of our website: https://www.imc.leeds.ac.uk/register/. This page contains the predicted registration fees for standard and concessionary rates, both in-person and virtual, and IMC Day passes. Owing to technical limitations, it will not be possible to offer virtual-only day rates. This page also advises delegates on the best methods of payment, so they can prepare before registration opens.
We have also updated our ‘Proof of Status’ page. When you register for the Student / Retired / Low-Waged / Unwaged Registration, you will be asked to provide proof of your status. This page breaks down what evidence you might need: https://www.imc.leeds.ac.uk/register/proofofstatus/.
Going forward, registration information will be sent from a new email domain: [email protected] – please add this address to your safe senders list to ensure you receive important messages regarding your registration. We would like to reassure delegates that they can still email us with any queries or questions about registration by contacting us at [email protected].
For those who are worried that they have missed the IMC boat, do not panic: the Late Call for Proposals is live on our website! Visit https://www.imc.leeds.ac.uk/imc-2025/late-cfp/ to browse sessions in need of a new paper, or even to organise your own session for one of our available time slots. Sessions can link to our ‘Worlds of Learning’ strand or any other aspect of medieval studies.
