| Abstract | Whether you are fresh out of a successful PhD viva or a seasoned researcher, this round table discussion aims to provide a range of insights into designing and marketing a monograph. In this session, Pete Biller, the general editor of York Medieval Press (YMP), will be joined by Caroline Palmer, Editorial Director at Boydell and Brewer, as well as YMP series editors and authors to offer their guidance on: the obstacles authors face, the problems they need to solve, how to tackle the question of which publisher to approach, and, most importantly, how to impress your prospective publisher with the marketability of your research.
