| Abstract | How can we make visible, audible, or interactive the many ways medieval people understood, structured, and manipulated time? This session series explores how digital technology enables us not only to study time, but to model, simulate, visualise and operationalise it, to analyse medieval temporalities in structured ways, and to reflect critically on how we digitally encode, abstract, or reimagine historical time. Session I focuses on digital archaeology and codicology as means of exploring material culture. |
