Delegates enjoying IMC 2018

Since launching our new registration system - and despite early setbacks! - registrations for the IMC 2019 have been flooding in and around 2500 people have already registered for Europe's largest annual medieval Congress. Folks from 57 countries are heading into Leeds to soak up some sun (we hope) and medieval knowledge. Over 30 seasoned academic publishers will be attending our Bookfair in the Parkinson Court this year to present a range of academic books, facsimile manuscripts and insider knowledge. 2019 marks the largest ever Second Hand and Antiquarian Bookfair with eight local exhibitors, bringing together a huge range of books and early printed texts. Nearly 20 Craft stall-holders for the Craft Fair and Making Leeds Medieval are attending to showcase their wares, selling everything from medieval facsimile products to mementos and keepsakes.

Soon we will also be announcing the programme of events for Making Leeds Medieval on the Thursday, as well as releasing the layout of stands for the Bookfair and Craft Fair.

Remember though, that you only have 3 more days to register for all of this at the standard rate. After 13 May at 17:00 UK Time (BST) there will be late fees of £25.00 incurred by delegates.

We are currently receiving a number of cancellations from delegates who are unable to make it so some out of stock items may become available, including limited numbers of  cheaper, on-campus accommodation. However, this cannot be guaranteed by us. Hotels will be taken off the store on May 15th in accordance with our contracts with the hotels, therefore they will not be available to book at all after that date. If you need accommodation, please register sooner to avoid disappointment.

Please also note that some of our events and excursions are now sold out. To learn which you can still attend, please visit our dedicated pages for Events and Excursions.
