Registrations for IMC 2020 open at 10.00 on 10 February 2020 through our online portal. As in previous years, you will be able to book and pay for your Programming and Registration Fee, accommodation, meals, events, and excursion tickets all in one place.
We are pleased to announce a number of improvements behind the scenes to how registrations are processed, including giving delegates the ability to go back in and modify their bookings for the first time. A link to modify your booking will be available in your confirmation email. We ask that delegates exercise caution in utilising this function, and pay attention to the guidance notes provided in the email, especially regarding adding additional nights of accommodation as when you remove an item from your booking, it is immediately available for other delegates to book.
Additionally, for the first time, delegates registering at the reduced Student/Retired/Unwaged/Low-Waged rate will be able to upload their proof of status as part of their online registration. If you do not have your proof of status to hand when you register, don’t worry as you can still email it through to us afterwards.
As in previous years, if you are unable to pay online or by credit/debit card over the phone, payment via invoice or bank transfer either from a personal or institutional account will be available on request. A processing fee of £25.00 will be added to all registrations requesting to pay via a non-standard method. This goes some way to covering the additional administrative costs of processing these payments.
Following some of the teething problems associated with launching our registration system last year, IMC Bursary recipients will receive a separate email containing their login details to access their registrations and apply their bursaries. It is essential that bursary recipients follow these instructions to avoid overpaying for their registrations.
Once you have registered, you will receive a confirmation email from us confirming your payment. This will also contain links to modify your booking, and to view an itemised receipt and booking confirmation. If you require a custom receipt, for example, containing your institution’s financial details, please let us know as soon as possible after registering.
